REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE,
Everything you ever bought, owned, were given, consumed or ate, has used resources from around the world, directly or indirectly. So the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, motto is probably the most important one for tackling the climate crisis.
We would add two more; REPURPOSE and REPAIR to this motto. The 5 R’s!
Not only would it help the environment, it would SAVE YOU MONEY TOO! Use less, make it last longer and either repurpose it or get it repaired/recycled. Going to the tip/hiring a skip or just throwing it in the bin should be a last resort!
Transition Worcester hold a monthly Repair Cafe at the STARS DAY CENTRE, Stanley Road, Worcester on the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 11am – 2pm, for things that you love and would like to be repaired
(if it is possible of course).
