Eco Church

We believe it is important to look after our wonderful world which God created. In order to help us do this we are now registered with A Rocha and are are aiming for Eco-Church Bronze Award.

A Rocha UK (ARUK) is a Christian charity working for the protection and restoration of the natural world and committed to equipping Christians and churches in the UK to care for the environment.

Church Grounds

We are fortunate to have a large grassed area to the side of the church buildings and a small garden at the back. On our boundary is a selection of trees and bushes.

During the year we have allowed some of the field to grow wild for the No Mow May Campaign.  Our boundaries have some lovely hedges so the grassy areas along the boundaries have been allowed to grow and hopefully the wild flowers will establish.  We have planted some Tenby Daffodils and cowslips in this area.  These were responsibly sourced and not taken from the wild. We have already seen wildlife (moths, bird life, etc.)  starting to flourish.

BICYLCE RACKS

The Mission has 4 bicycle racks installed at the rear of the church which will take up to 8 bicycles.  So, if you would like to cycle to church in the summer months or even all year round, please do.
