ECO-CHURCH NEWS

We did it!  I am pleased to report that The Mission has

gained an Eco-church BRONZE AWARD. 

Thanks to everyone who helped us to get this far. 

It is an ongoing journey for us and the latest news

about Net Zero makes it even more important and urgent. 

We will have a certificate and logo to display.

In the meantime, we are trying out eco-friendly cleaning products and recycled toilet paper.

These will be phased in gradually, seeing what works for the Mission and what doesn’t. 

What goes down the drain has been in the news recently and the state of our rivers. 

We are only stone’s-throw from the river and sewage works too!  Thanks here to

Michael for unblocking our troublesome drains recently!  And Janet our cleaner for

agreeing to try out new things!

Judith is hoping to complete the memory book soon. If you haven’t shared some of your

memories of your time at the Mission with her please let her have them by the end of April,
