who normally attend the Sunday Services, Tuesday Fellowship, the Coffee Mornings
and Place of Welcome please put them in the red box when you come to the Mission
between 3rd and 14th Dec, so that they can be sorted before 17th Dec. Please make
clear who the card is for as we have a duplicate of names, if you are unsure of

ECO-CHURCH NEWS
Hello Everyone,
Well, another year has passed, and here’s what we have been up to.
- In March we achieve our Bronze Award!
- We gradually introduced environmentally-friendly cleaning products.
- Thanks to Janet our cleaner for trialling them. Washing up liquid and hand soap, gradually too.
- We introduced recycled toilet paper.
- Started replacing light bulbs, as they blow, with LED bulbs.
- Held a Creation Tide Service. We hope to make it an annual event.
- Pledged to make the Mission’s land butterfly/moth friendly and record sightings onto a national data-base.
- Started collecting used medicine blister packs for re-cycling.
- Started a walking group.
Thank you to everyone for your continuing support and care for God’s creation.
Next year will be a progression, slowly working towards a Silver Award.
This will be a lot harder to achieve and may take years and lots of hard work.

Foodbank A very big ‘thank you’ to everyone for the contributions, both goods
and monetary gifts, to Worcester Foodbank. Last week we took them down,
together with a £1,000 cheque from the Mission Trust.
The team at the Foodbank really appreciate our ongoing support at a time
when demand is great, and a record number of referrals are expected.
They will feed thousands of people over the coming weeks and their aim
is that “no-one in our city goes hungry”.
We hope to go again in December and take some things ready for the
Christmas distribution to help those who need to use the Foodbank in these
challenging times.
These are the items they need:
Dried stuffing/gravy |
Bread sauce
|
Canned ham
|
Chutney/pickles |
Pickled onions
|
Cranberry sauce
|
Cheese biscuits/crackers |
Biscuit box selection |
Bottles of alcohol-free cordial (not squash) |
Dried fruit (dates or figs)
|
Tinned custard |
Tinned potatoes |
Many thanks for your continued support. Gill
