Thank You We are so grateful to everyone who supported the summer

concert, which helped to raise £455 for our daughter Molly's fund-raising

appeal. It was a wonderful afternoon and we thoroughly enjoyed the

beautiful music played by Grace and Euodia -accompanied by a delicious

cream tea! As a family we have felt overwhelmed at the support we've

received from the community at the Mission, in trying to secure our

daughter a better future.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us - we have really appreciated

your love and care for us. Tim, Ana and Molly.

ECO CHURCH NEWS

I have just been e-mailed to say that the new updated

Eco-Church survey will be sent out on 8th October.

So will let you know what’s happening in the November New Sheet.

In the meantime, I’m hoping to have an autumn tidy up in the Mission’s

garden.  The last year’s weather has not been kind, and we have not

had the opportunity to sit out on the grass at all.

Nature is having to adapt to climate chaos, but is not so able as us

humans, as it takes time for species to adapt.  As you tidy up your

gardens, leave small piles of leaves and twigs for creepy crawlies

to overwinter.  Stones and shady areas help slow worms and other

amphibians too.  Hedgehogs love piles of leaves and twigs to make

dens to hibernate in. As I was eating my breakfast recently I watched

a flock of House Martins and Swallows swooping and swirling over

the gardens getting ready to fly to Africa.  Yes autumn is here!
