Covid safety Information

Information for when the Services restart

A few things to let you know in order to keep everyone safe.

  • We are really looking forward to seeing everyone together again but please do not attend if you have any coronavirus symptoms.
  • Please only attend if you are happy to mix with other people outside your family group / bubble. We are very conscious that some people will still be shielding, others may be in isolation, and others would prefer to stay in the safety of their own home.
  • Please note in line with the government request a list of those attending with be made as part of the track and trace scheme.
  • We ask that everyone keeps a 2m distance at all times.
  • Please use the hand sanitizer provided before entering the church, or use your own personal one if you prefer.
  • If you feel happier wearing a face mask then please do so.
  • Please only use the seats marked by a smiley face.
  • Due to the 2m rule only a limited number of people will be allowed in the church so the lounge and hall may used.
  • There will be a one way system in operation, through the building.
  • Collection please leave this in the collection dish  by either the entrance or exit. If you prefer not to handle money then please consider paying directly into the Mission bank account, for details please contact Meryl.
  • Singing, unfortunately, at present we will be unable to sing during the service, so while we may hear music we can only sing along in our heads.
  • Due to the difficulty of getting to the shops at  present we will not have fresh flowers in the church.
  • Food, unfortunately at present we will not be able to serve refreshments before or after the services.
  • Communion all being well we will have our first communion service on Sunday 2nd August. We will use the individual cups with small plates on top containing a piece of bread / gluten free bread. Each one will be prepared using gloves and wrapped in cling film. If you prefer you can bring your own. This will be available for you to collect on your way in.
  • Toilets if you need to use the toilet during your time at the Mission then please use the disabled toilet.

Please don’t be put off by the above. We are sure we will all soon get used to being together again.

Please ask if you are unsure about anything.
