and help tidy up the outside of the Mission.

Harvest Services will take place on 12th and 19th October. If you
would like to donate items towards the Harvest Display please
donate tins, jars and packets of food so that they can be donated to
Worcester Food Bank. If you would like to donate garden produce,
please speak to Margaret Hughes.
Or alternatively make a monetary donation, all money placed in the
collection plate on 12th and 19th October will be donated to Worcester
Food Bank. Thank you for your support.

Little Sunbeams Baby and Toddler Group every
Tuesday 1.00pm - 2.30pm. during school Term Time.
Toddler Church is changing it’s name and time! to:
Little Explorers on Wednesdays 9.15 - 10.15am,
1st and 15th October, a fun time for babies, toddlers, and their
adults. in the Garden Room.
If you know a family with children under school age, please invite
them to Little Sunbeams and Little Explorers.
ECO CHURCH NEWS
The Vale Wildlife Hospital Open Day raised £21,638.44
this year. Their best fundraising Open day ever! It
certainly was very busy when I attended, worth the visit
after sitting in heavy traffic to get there. They had 8,099
casualties treated in 2024 which was also a record high. The
Mission’s Wildlife Group is up and running and we started by tidying
up the wildlife garden and re-positioning the bug hotel, which needs
refilling with logs and fir cones over the coming weeks. We have
plans to plant some more bulbs on the field and establish a butterfly
bank on the bund area, slowly over the months ahead. Private
gardens, churchyards, and other outdoor spaces can make a
significant contribution to nature. We can take action to care for
plants, wildlife and soil where we live and around our churches.
Caring for the earth was the first instruction God gave to humans.
This doesn’t mean we all need to be professional gardeners, but
perhaps try to learn one new thing this month that you can do for
your garden space. Sue Garfield

Help with Refreshments. We all enjoy the refreshments after the
services, please consider going on the rota. It involves arriving at
the Mission, 20mins before the service to set up the trolley and put
the kettles on. Providing the milk and biscuits. Serving the drinks
after the service, then washing up. The more people on the rota, the
less times you will be required to do it.
